Job Location: Gorham, Maine
Environment: Climate‑Controlled Shop, Employee‑Owned
Shift
Schedule:
3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday;
Friday overtime.
Shift Differential: 10%
Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Reports To: Second Shift Supervisor
Job Type / Status: Full time, Non‑exempt
Facility: Small shop with big responsibility and total mastery.

Must be able to set up repeat jobs on our production machines, which may include lathes, grinders, mills and similar equipment. Specifically:
- Loading programs
- Loading cutting tools
- Loading fixtures and vices
- Cutting or boring jaws
Must be able to apply mathematics and instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerances, and read customer drawings to interpret design intent and plan setups accordingly.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Machine set‑up following prints and specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint, identifying any setup‑related issues before they become problems.
- Maintain precise quality documentation, taking pride in the paperwork that proves your station is running at peak performance.
- Maintain a safe and orderly production area.
- Engage in a collaborative environment that values the exchange of skills and ideas.
- Physical ability to operate machines.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
