Overview
Sugarloaf Resort is looking for Snow Tube Park Operators to join our Mountain Operations team in our newest outdoor guest experience: our new snow tube park!
This is a fast-paced, outdoor, guest facing role where you will spend your shift moving between tubing lanes and the Moosecalator conveyor, making sure guests have a fun and safe time on the snow.
This full-time seasonal role is anticipated to start at a wage of $17-19 per hour and comes with great job perks and access to resort activities. Depending upon operational needs, you may also pick up shifts with our Lift Operations and Parking teams.
Responsibilities Guest Service- Welcome and assist guests, explaining tubing park rules and safety expectations.
- Deliver attentive, friendly customer service throughout each shift.
- Monitor tubing lanes and guest flow, assisting with tube distribution and collection.
- Follow training procedures to keep the tube park running efficiently and safely.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Assist guests loading and unloading the Moosecalator conveyor.
- Monitor guest spacing and safe conveyor use, reporting any equipment issues immediately.
- Assist with lift operations, including helping guests load and unload safely and performing routine operational checks.
- Assist with parking operations during peak periods, including directing vehicles and helping guests with way finding
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior experience or specific education required; all training, including conveyor certification, is provided on the job.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment.
- Able to remain physically active and attentive for the full duration shift, including standing, walking, and moving on snow and ice.
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly throughout a shift.
- Able to work outdoors in winter conditions, including temperatures well below freezing, for the entire operating season.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred, not required.
- Available for a flexible seasonal schedule and enjoys working with guests of all ages.
