Description Job Summary
The Inventory Coordinator works under the direction of the Inventory Manager to ensure accurate inventory in the Gorham Warehouse. The Inventory Coordinator ensures and delivers the organization’s commitment to achieving triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic, and environmental goals into thinking, planning and action. Responsible for driving outstanding service while guaranteeing all aspects of inventory control within the supply chain.
The Inventory Coordinator delivers positive employee experience, by modeling Goodwill’s mission and citizenship behaviors. The inventory coordinator is responsible for keeping track of inventory in the warehouse, including store fixtures, store supplies, and New Goods.
- Complete physical inventory of New Goods, store supplies and retail store fixtures.
- Receiving inventory, reconciling discrepancies, and processing incoming shipments.
- Execution of the New Goods program in collaboration with the Inventory Manager.
- Pick New Goods, store supplies, store equipment, and fixture orders and prepare them for transportation.
- Clean and organize the store supplies, retail fixtures and New Goods areas within the warehouse.
- Work in a fast-paced environment using prioritization and competing timelines.
- Responsible for alerting the Inventory Manager when store supply inventory is low.
- Support the Inventory Manager in creating the inventory process for retail fixtures.
- Able to assist the Inventory Control Manager with computer-based tasks.
- Maintain the new inventory processes for Retail fixtures to better serve our Retail stores.
- Occasionally assemble store fixtures.
- Provide cross-functional support to the warehouse team as needed.
- Research opportunities for purchasing used fixtures for our retail store.
- Participate in the assessment of current store fixtures and changes needed.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with Counterpoint, Novis or similar POS system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and software skills.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- 2+ years warehouse experience.
