Food Service Team Member

General Summary

Our Food Service Team Members are responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the Food Service Station during their shift, within company policy. This includes ensuring that the shift contributes to the increased profitability and growth of the store and ensuring our customers’ needs are met every step of the way. We empower employees to step outside the box to provide best‑in‑class service to all of our customers each and every day.

• Prepare all fresh, made‑to‑order food items.
• Maintain all self‑service food offerings such as coffee, fresh case items, dispensers, fountain machines, and condiment center.
• Load product into fresh case as needed.
• Operate the cash register and provide best‑in‑class customer service.
• Maintain high levels of sanitation.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels for freshness and availability.
• Back‑stock, refill condiments and supplies, and rotate product by received date.
• Greet customers with a smile, provide a sincere greeting, and suggest possible purchases or specials.
• Assume full responsibility for executing Nouria’s customer service program at the site level.
• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers and suppliers; enforce environmental and hazardous‑material regulations.
• Maintain safety and security of the store, document any accidents or incidents.
• Manage maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently; support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents or illnesses.
• Complete the new employee safety orientation procedure.
• Wear gloves, hat/visor, and apron as required.

• General knowledge of safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Familiarity with product/production processes.
• Allergen and food safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Capability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Strong concern for the safety of self and co‑workers, with a responsible attitude.

• Lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Perform other related duties as required.
