The Gorham School Department has an opening for a Dispatcher to assist in the dispatching of bus drivers to ensure safe, timely transportation of students and assist in the development and maintenance of bus routes. Duties and responsibilities include:
Maintaining bus routes and managing bus routing software Coordinating communication between the transportation office and school administrative assistants to ensure the safe transportation of all students to school and home again daily Maintain constant communication with bus drivers via two-way radio Assist in daily communications required to operate the transportation program. Assist in coordination of meetings with drivers Perform such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities that may be assigned.

Salary range: $65,000-$70,000
