Cost Accountant

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually

• Analyze and maintain standard costs, variances, and inventory valuations

• Prepare and analyze cost reports related to labor, materials, and overhead

• Support month-end close with inventory and cost-related journal entries

• Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis

• Ensure accurate BOMs, routings, and cost structures within the ERP system

• Support internal and external audits related to inventory and costing

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–6 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Net Suite, Epicor, Oracle, or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities

• Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial teams
