Hiring Rate: $22.12-$24.58/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

Hours & Days of Work:
Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week

Job Summary:

Responsible for processing and maintaining registration records and assisting with the voting process.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, with one year of experience working in election process
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, a resident of Elkhart County and a Registered Voter
• Working knowledge of Federal code, Indiana election rules/regulations, and SVRS, with the ability to process new registrations, maintain related records, coordinate voting locations, and refer to election manuals
• Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
• Must be able to lift/carry 40+pounds
• Overtime and weekend work mandatory periodically throughout year
• Pre-employment background check
