WhatYou will Get:
The role of the Product Applications Technician is to maintain customer satisfaction through providing technical product support, assist with training, perform scheduled audits, support product prototypes, and develop strong customer relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:- To be the technical expert on the product and how the customer intends to use it.
- Provide customer support through scheduled product and applications training and applications audits.
- Assist the customer with obtaining the appropriate information to spec new products.
- Provide feedback to product managers and operations to improve the customer experience.
- Provide customer installation support through model changes and new product launches.
- Assist in resolving problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers,
- finding and implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems.
- Assist in gathering pertinent customer and market information that will drive the product roadmap and industry growth.
- Primarily working indoors, in both, manufacturing and office environments.
- May sit for several hours at a time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
- Strong technical aptitude
- Articulate oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of customers by telephone, electronically, or face to face
- Ability to utilize all available resources including co-workers
- Able to interpret customer'sa description of their Coach problems and translate those into clear instructions for the service technicians
- Communication skills are required to connect staff and customers for a positive customer service experience
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times
- Demonstrate experience in sequential processing - utilizing multiple software programs and talking on the phone
- Ability to assess and evaluate the work of technicians
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Ability to reflect Lippert core values in both customer interaction and the interaction of co workers
- Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests
- Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling avenues including maintenance and upgrade opportunities
