Environmental Engineering Internship (Summer 2026)

We provide students studying engineering, construction management, and business an opportunity to engage in work‑based learning. The Rieth‑Riley Internship Scholarship Award Program is in place to financially assist students who have successfully completed a full‑time internship with Rieth‑Riley.

  • Upon completion of 1st year internship with Rieth‑Riley, $1,500 scholarship awarded
  • Upon completion of 2nd year internship with Rieth‑Riley, $1,750 scholarship awarded
  • Upon completion of 3rd year internship with Rieth‑Riley, $2,000 scholarship awarded
  • Upon completion of 4th year internship with Rieth‑Riley, $2,250 scholarship awarded

SUMMARY Assist and support environmental team with on‑site administrative tasks and technical aspects, including but not limited to:

  • Inputting daily quantities and usage from asphalt plants
  • Assist with quarterly reports
  • Record management and report compiling
  • Assist with water inspections, stack tests, and spill plans

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Must have good organization skills
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced, high‑pressure environment
  • Problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated; ability to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
