Site Manager - Site Works Aggregates (Himes Holdings Inc)

Location: 22729 County Road 28, Goshen, IN

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Reports To: President of Construction

The Site Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of a sand and gravel aggregate pit. This role oversees daily operations, staff, equipment, customer relations, and regulatory compliance while promoting a strong safety culture and positive work environment.

• Manage daily site operations and production schedules
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, IDEM, OSHA, INDOT, and company policies
• Oversee equipment inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Supervise, train, and evaluate site personnel; manage staffing and discipline
• Maintain CAPP/CAAP certification requirements and lab testing
• Provide excellent customer service and oversee scale house operations
• Promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

• Experience in aggregate pit or quarry operations
• 5+ years heavy equipment operation preferred
• 2–4 years supervisory experience
• MSHA and CAAP/CAPP certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; bilingual a plus
• Physically demanding, outdoor work environment with exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.
