Job Title:

CAD Technician

The CAD Technician is capable of working within a dynamic group to meet project goals and timelines. The person in this position must be well organized, detail oriented, and have the flexibility to handle multiple project assignments. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Functions:

  • Create/update/modify part and assembly CAD data using Solid Works.
  • Process change actions utilizing Enovia.
  • Designs and drawings must be free from errors.
  • Ensure changes are implemented according to customer requests.
  • Make changes in accordance with Lippert Engineering practices and guidelines.
  • Document and process all changes using Lippert change management processes.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary on occasion.
  • No travel is expected for this position.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Manufacturing/industry experience.
  • Experience working with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Master Cam, Top Solid, Lectra 2/3D, and Solidworks.
  • Organizational skills, communication proficiency, initiative, thoroughness, time management.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
