Front Pump Operator - 1st shift

Responsibilities

Grind and cut tubes for front pump seal parts per customer specifications with a cellular manufacturing operation.

* Operator processes rubber tubes by procuring tubes from staging area, setting up grinding machines, selecting proper size mandrels, and mounts of grinders.

* Set up grinders

* Operates multiple grinding machines process tubes to specific dimensions.

* Removes mandrels from grinders, dismounts tubes from mandrels at completion of operations

* Visually inspects tubes per standards

* Prepares tubes for cutting operation by mounting on proper mandrels, paint/strip tubes as required, setting up chisel cutters, placing tubes in cutters and processing to specific dimensions

* Utilize SPC techniques as part of the QAS system

* Operator performs dimensional checks on the shadow graph

* Troubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans and maintains equipment

Qualifications

Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening as a condition of employment

Be able to demonstrate good attendance history

Computer skills

High school diploma or equivalent working experience
