This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the flow of production. Essential functions include observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company, maintenance of material inventory, movement of raw material through installation area, assurance of proper parts specifications for chassis completion, assurance of sufficient part supply at all processing stations, movement of completed parts from installation area to shipping area, assistance in repair work as necessary, and maintenance of good housekeeping practices.

Competencies include the ability to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals, clear verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and process written communication, help production meet goals and time deadlines, work with minimum supervision, operate appropriate office equipment, physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds, successful problem-solving skills, exhibit tact and diplomacy, maintain professional relationships, work under physically and mentally stressful situations, and prioritize and adapt to changes through the day.

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. The physical demands include 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders, and lifting and/or moving items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time hourly position. Typical hours are Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing/industry experience, ability to read basic blueprints, and use of hand tools are preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
