Job Title
This position is responsible for completing the main powder coating process.
Essential Functions- Ability to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, frame prints, and measurements.
- Ability to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Competency in coating procedures.
- Ability to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary.
- Ability to operate appropriate equipment including coating gums, pumps, compressors, heating units, tape measures, etc.
- Ability to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
- Successful problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
- Ability to work under physically and mentally stressful situations.
- Ability to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.
This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position for 1st and 2nd shifts located in the Goshen Plant. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
RequiredEducation and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Lift truck operator experience preferred (training available). Manufacturing/Industry experience.
Work Authorization/Security ClearanceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must also be able to pass a respirator test.
