Production Manager

Position InfoDirectly supervise and coordinate all resources on a given shift. Responsible for meeting organizational goals in safety, production, quality, and customer service.
Hours:
2:30p - 11:30p
- Lead and drive NIBCO Core Values in every area and process
- Supervise all production operations including indirect areas to optimize production levels
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate department activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products on time
- Expectation to deliver and meet organizational goals related to safety, quality, customer service, and productivity
- Ability to effectively communicate to various levels within the organization
- Drive and lead 6S principles amongst the plant
- Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Ability to calmly manage multiple priorities in a high stakes environment
- Recognize all potential safety hazards and assign resources to address and prevent them in the future
- Establish and support a positive safety culture across the manufacturing environment
- All other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience manufacturing supervision experience.
- 3-5 years Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using IQMS, SAP, and work order systems preferred.
Associate degree or technical schooling preferred or 5 - 10 years progressive manufacturing experience. Preferred knowledge in plastic injection molding.
Training And SkillsDemonstrated ability in servant leadership is required; strong organizational and time management skills. Quality driven. Excellent oral and written communication. Strong teamwork mindset. Self-motivated individual who can work independently. Strong safety mindset.
