Overview
We are seeking experienced HVAC technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelter sites located on cell towers. This is a fast‑paced role for highly motivated individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, willing to travel, and eager to grow in the telecom industry. Candidates should reside in Goshen, IN.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Execute additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per company policies and insurance requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required).
- 3+ years HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates should reside in Goshen, IN.
- Availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays required – the company reimburses travel costs and provides a per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lb.
