GCS - School Nutrition Delivery Driver

POSITION PURPOSE

Under the direction of a Building School Nutrition Manager, operate a company vehicle to transport, deliver, and serve meals, as well as food service materials and supplies, to designated satellite locations.

• Picks up and delivers prepared meals and supplies
• Loads food and carrier containers with prepared meals, coolers and heating units into delivery truck and unloads at various locations
• Returns to each location to pick up empty carrier containers
• Serves lunch meal service at Chandler Innovation Academy

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

• Safely moving objects/carts on wheels weighing at least 50 pounds
• Withstand a wide range of temperatures
• Verbal communication skills; understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Work independently with little direction.

182 days per year; 16.25 hours per week; daily hours (10:00am to 1:15pm)

$19.00 per hour (Schedule #23-Del)
