Part-Time Cashier

We're looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Cashier to join our team at Koopman Lumber! In this role, you'll be the face of our checkout experience — delivering friendly, efficient service while accurately processing customer transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
• Process purchases accurately and efficiently at the register
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment
• Answer basic product questions and direct customers to the appropriate department
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy
• Perform price checks and assist with customer inquiries during transactions
• Promote a positive shopping experience through courteous and professional service
• Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies
