Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of electrical and automation systems for industrial equipment. This role will work across the full product lifecycle, including design, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and program PLC and HMI control systems
- Develop machine control solutions using PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and safety devices
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs
- Support system testing, validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and safety standards
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, service, and customer teams
- Assist with technical documentation and operating procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI development
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control components
- Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, or automation systems
- Startup, commissioning, and field support experience
