2 years of ER experience
First-time traveler:
Yes
Neonates-Geriatrics (45% of patients are 65 or older)
Geriatrics, chest pain, afib, stroke
Will transfer psych, peds and higher level traumas as needed (St Lukes 45 mins away)
Higher acuity Client Level 2-3
Average 60 patients/day
RN: 1:3-4 (days & nights)
RequiredCertifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, NIH
TNCC (preferred)
PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, cardiac gtt, vasopressors, TPA administration (preferred)
Epic experience required
Charge nurse - may take patient load
Bedside telemetry monitoring without tele tech
RT 24/7
Hospitalist 24/7
Pharmacy 24/7
EICU 24/7
EPIC - required
Alaris IV pumps
Pyxis
None
Orientation:2 days of hospital orientation
One shift on unit to learn flow (usually day shift for training purposes)
Weekend rotation: every other
Can we approve time off: 7 days
Call, not required
Holiday Expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter
Scrub Color: any color must be professional
