CNC Machinist
This role involves operating and setting up CNC machines, editing G&M code, and performing quality inspections on industrial bearings. The position requires experience with mills, lathes, calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading. You will be working in a high mix, low volume machining environment.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines efficiently and safely.
- Perform setups and edits on G&M code.
- Conduct quality inspections on industrial bearings.
- Utilize calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Work with mills and lathes effectively.
- 4+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Proficiency in CNC setup and programming.
- Strong ability in blueprint reading.
- Experience with calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of lathe and mill operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with multi-axis machining is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with CNC brands such as Mitisui Seki, Toshiba, Mazak, Mori-seki, and Intergex.

WorkEnvironment
The work environment is climate-controlled, typical of a machine shop. The available shifts are 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11 pm to 7 am with a 10% premium. Initially, you will start with 8-hour shifts, with the flexibility to choose hours once performance is satisfactory.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
