Part-Time Physics Instructor
Seeking qualified part-time candidates to teach physics courses.
Example Of DutiesCourses may include Conceptual Physics & Lab, Mechanics, College Physics I & II, and General Physics I & II. Classes may be seated, hybrid, or online. Work hours may include day or evening classes. Duties will include lecturing (in person or remotely), holding office hours, preparing syllabi and lessons, and creating and grading assignments and tests. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
TypicalQualifications
Required:
Master's degree in Physics, or a Master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in Physics, from a regionally-accredited institution. Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in physics. Preference will also be given to applicants who have experience with online teaching, learning management systems (such as Moodle or Blackboard), and homework management systems (such as MyLab Math or Web Assign).
