Position OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and safety‑focused Forklift Driver to join our Warehouse Operations team. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials throughout the facility while supporting shipping, receiving, production, and warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate has recent forklift experience, understands warehouse safety practices, and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Warehouse Operations- Safely load, unload, receive, and ship materials accurately and efficiently.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility using powered industrial equipment.
- Optimize loads to maximize efficiency while minimizing product damage.
- Support production and warehouse operations by delivering materials to designated locations.
- Verify materials and quantities against shipping and receiving documentation.
- Operate forklifts safely while following all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety requirements, and warehouse procedures.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Work collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required.
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a fast‑paced environment.
- Food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing production priorities.
- Regular schedule:
Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Must be available to work overtime as business needs require.
- Must be available to work weekends and up to six (6) days per week during peak production seasons.
- Reliable attendance is essential.
- Non-climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
