Southern Health Partners is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic to join our team at the Alamance County Detention Center. With over 30 years of experience in correctional healthcare, we provide a structured, secure environment where medical professionals can focus on delivering quality care while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

In this role, you'll blend hands‑on patient care with the consistency of a reliable schedule-making a meaningful impact on an underserved population while working alongside a supportive, team‑oriented staff.

• Administer medications in accordance with established protocols
• Provide patient care within scope of practice
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to health concerns
• Manage sick calls and carry out prescribed treatment plans
• Collaborate with medical and security staff to ensure continuity of care
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism and sound clinical judgment

• Active LPN license or Paramedic certification in North Carolina
• Prior experience in correctional, emergency, acute care, or long-term care preferred
• Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
