PositionOpportunity
The Warehouse Supervisor supports warehouse operations across multiple facilities by supervising day‑to‑day warehouse activities during assigned shifts. This role ensures operational continuity, employee coverage, safety compliance, and productivity while acting as a key liaison between warehouse, production, and processing teams. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a hands‑on leadership role and supports the Warehouse Manager in meeting daily operational and staffing goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Supervise warehouse operations at assigned sites during designated shifts.
- Monitor production schedules for updates related to expiration dates, material changes, product launches, and inventory needs.
- Ensure line supervisors and plant leadership have the resources required to operate efficiently.
- Complete daily shift reports in preparation for management and morning meetings.
- Document and report incidents occurring during assigned shifts and coordinate transportation for injured employees when medical attention is required.
- Operate and demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Participate in employee discipline processes, including verbal and written warnings, in coordination with management.
- Communicate with production and processing teams regarding shortages, delayed product movement, and raw material availability.
- Monitor daily attainment and productivity goals across warehouse operations.
- Assist with onboarding, cross‑training, and development of warehouse employees.
- Travel between facilities weekly or as needed to support operational demands.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills in daily operations.
