OOIDA is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Preliminary Quote Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will serve as an important first point of contact for members and prospective insureds by gathering information and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

• Answers routine telephone calls, collecting information for quoting and underwriting, while updating and verifying electronic files with current information.
• Manages all information received; organizes and maintains paper and electronic files, ensuring files are updated and maintained at all times.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and Association goals.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Microsoft Office Suite experience

• Knowledge of the trucking industry
• Bilingual (English, Spanish)
