As a Test Development Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and optimize Flying Probe (FP) test profiles to support new product introductions and manufacturing operations. A key focus is migrating and enriching existing test programs to the SPEA 4060 platform, improving test coverage, efficiency, and overall effectiveness.

• Develop, create, and maintain Flying Probe test profiles to support product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing test strategies.
• Convert and enhance existing FP test profiles from the legacy platform to the SPEA 4060, leveraging advanced coverage, speed, and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and industrial engineering teams to define test requirements, coverage expectations, and development priorities.
• Support the development, validation, and optimization of test methods, fixtures, and setups, including hardware and software solutions, with hands‑on debugging and verification of new test profiles.
• Analyze test data to evaluate coverage, effectiveness, and yield trends, focusing on prevention of downstream manufacturing issues.
• Document and maintain test procedures, development standards, and profile change history to ensure consistency and traceability.
• Support the transition of newly developed or converted test solutions into production, including initial ramp support as needed.
• Perform other test engineering related activities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, electronic engineering technology, or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, or troubleshooting of electronic systems or assemblies.
• Strong understanding of electronics theory, principles, and practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.

• Experience writing and developing test procedures for electronic products or systems; familiarity with embedded device programming, JTAG, boundary scan, and related technologies.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, ANSI C, C++, or other relevant software languages for test and measurement; experience creating applications that run in Windows or Linux.
• Knowledge of environmental stress testing methods such as temperature, vibration, shock, HALT, and HASS.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for electronic products, including safety and compliance requirements.
• Basic understanding of analytical tools and techniques, including FMEA, DOE, SPC, Six Sigma, and Lean.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge and experience in Design for Test (DFT) practices, including design or redesign of effective processes and tool improvements.

Salary range: $65,000–$97,000 per year (Grain Valley, MI). 120 hours of vacation leave, 40 hours of personal paid absence, 12 paid holidays, 1 floating holiday, and 6 weeks of paid parental leave.
