Position Title

Production Operator - Assembly

Compensation & Hours

Hourly: $19.00 (increases to $19.47 after 90 days).

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime.

Position Summary

The Production Operator – Assembly will be responsible for building through‑hole and surface‑mount printed circuit board assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Build through‑hole (THT) and surface‑mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies and chassis, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation, and quality workmanship guidelines.
  • Perform manual placement and hand soldering of through‑hole components per specifications.
  • Prep circuit boards for reflow line and wave soldering.
  • Install electronic parts, apply solder mask, and apply solder tape to boards.
  • Perform electronic data entry work into the computer system.
  • Crimp, solder, audit workmanship, read drawings and schematics.
  • Navigate an inventory management system.
  • Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Understand, support, and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined in the goal tree.
Qualifications
  • Previous printed circuit board assembly experience.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
  • Basic soldering skills.
  • Basic component identification skills.
  • Organization skills.
  • Time‑management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
