Position: Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Granbury, TX
A registered nurse with medical-surgical expertise is sought for a contract role supporting patient care in Granbury, TX. This opportunity involves working nights in a medical-surgical unit with a focus on delivering skilled nursing in a well-equipped, 40-bed facility. Candidates must be prepared to float to other medical-surgical units as needed, ensuring flexible support across the care team.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum one year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Titers must be completed prior to submission
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Schedule / Hours:

• Night shift, 1845 to 0715
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend coverage
• No 48-hour shifts
• Request time off in submission packet within defined blackout periods (maximum 3 days during spring break)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 6:1
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe and effective treatment
• Float to other medical-surgical units to meet patient and unit needs
• Document care and patient progress accurately in the EMR system (Med Host)
• Follow established infection control and safety standards
