Experienced Caregiver – Personal & Dementia Care | Granbury, TX

Caregiver Position

Comfort Keepers is looking for experienced caregivers to provide dependable, hands-on care to seniors in their homes throughout the Granbury area. This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who are comfortable assisting with personal care and daily activities and who have experience supporting seniors with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

What We Offer

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour based on experience and CNA certification
• Additional $1.50/hour weekend differential

Your Role

Caregivers will provide individualized support based on each client's needs and care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Helping clients with transfers, mobility, and safe movement throughout the home
• Using mobility equipment such as gait belts and walkers when appropriate
• Providing hands-on support to clients with dementia or Alzheimer's
• Using patience, reassurance, and redirection when assisting clients with cognitive challenges
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as needed
• Completing laundry and light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and encouraging clients to remain as independent as possible
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs
• Following the client's individualized Plan of Care

What We're Looking For

Candidates should have:

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Hands-on experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Experience caring for clients with dementia and/or Alzheimer's disease
• Comfort providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and transfers
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and safety-focused approach
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
• Willingness to complete required company training
