Member is an adult female who needs a dependable, calm, and safety-focused caregiver due to episodes of weakness/paralysis, seizure-like events, and limited walking ability. Caregiver will provide hands-on support with safe mobility and transfers as needed, close supervision during periods of instability, and assistance with daily routines when symptoms flare. This role is a great fit for someone who is patient, emotionally supportive, and comfortable working in a home where mental health challenges may impact energy, motivation, and daily functioning.

Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to stay composed during unexpected episodes are important.

• Personal Care / ADLs
  • Assistance with bathing, grooming, and hygiene as needed
  • Dressing assistance
  • Toileting assistance and incontinence care if needed
  • Safe transfers and mobility support (limited walking support; fall prevention)
• Safety & Supervision
  • Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns to the agency
  • Provide calm support during episodes of weakness or seizure-like events; maintain a safe environment
  • Encourage safe pacing of activities and rest breaks
• Meal Support
  • Meal preparation and light cooking
  • Assist with feeding setup and cleanup as needed
• Light Housekeeping (Client Areas)
  • Laundry (wash/dry/fold/put away)
  • Dishes and kitchen wipe-down
  • Sweep/mop/vacuum in commonly used areas
  • Trash removal and general tidying to reduce fall risks
• Errands / Shopping (If Requested)
  • Grocery or essential-item shopping and errands as needed
  • Driving may be required if errands are part of the care plan (caregiver must have reliable transportation)
