The Hilton Garden Inn Granbury is seeking a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead all food and beverage operations across the property. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department, including purchasing and inventory management, service standards, staff scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. The Director of Food & Beverage will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency, financial performance, and team success.
EssentialFunctions

- Hire, train, develops and disciplines food and beverage staff.
- Follows up and maintains food cost controls, methods, and procedures.
- Creates and develops menu prices, beverage lists, and beverage prices.
- Ensure associates are in proper uniform and attire.
- Ensure service expectations are met at all touch points.
- Standardized portions used, and is responsible for controlling of food, beverage, and labor.
- Maintains a system of cost controls through purchasing and sales.
- Assist in the development of core F&B training programs and SOP development.
- Review and coordination of all breakfast offerings.
- Review of all buffet and banquet service to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Directs kitchen maintenance and sanitation program, insuring proper use of equipment.
- Adhere and maintain all Health Department rules and regulations.
- Controlling and maintaining labor costs in scheduling.
- Develops and maintains quality control procedures.
- Must be responsible for security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assets.
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc..
- Maintain fair and consistent counseling and/or disciplinary procedures in accordance with Peachtree Hospitality Management Policies and Standards.
- Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming, which include wearing a correct name tag when working.
- Always comply with Peachtree Hospitality Management standards and policies to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written.
- Must be able to work well in stressful, high pressured situations including the ability to handle guest complaints and disputes and resolve them to satisfactory results.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic function.
- Long hours sometimes required
- Ability to meet standards of appearance
- Medium work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to be on your feet throughout the entire shift.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of two years food service or related hospitality management experience.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated leadership skills
