Day Shift Mechanical AssemblerFull Time – Granbury, TX, US
Responsibilities- Installs purchased, assembled, and preassembled components.
- Conducts mechanical installations according to general instructions and established standards.
- Assembles product components to meet published schedules as directed.
- Lift and move assemblies and components as required.
- Examines products for proper fit and function.
- Examines all work performed in assigned areas.
- Conducts installation inspections.
- Practices safe work procedures at all times and leads by example.
- Assists in the organization of the shop floor work.
- Demonstrates proficiency in precision layout and measurement per drawings, hand sketches, or revisions.
- Manages multiple tasks effectively.
- Completes assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Performs other duties as required and directed.
- Exhibits strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, job task planning, and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrates both the ability and desire to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Previous work experience preferred.
- Effective time management skills to assist in coordinating the department over multiple shifts.
- Exceptional people skills and a can‑do attitude are essential keys to success in this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Safety procedure adherence.
- Good oral communication.
- Problem solving / decision making / job task planning and organization.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. / manual dexterity.
- Demonstrate teamwork and commitment to ongoing training for success in the position.
- Read and interpret blueprints / drawing specifications.
- Able to operate and maintain general hand and air tools – brake, shear grinding equipment.
- Have an understanding of standard work procedures.
- Follow and give oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.
