Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work as an Endoscopy Circulating Nurse. This position involves providing direct patient care during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and assisting the physician as needed.

• Prepare the endoscopy suite for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available.
• Perform patient pre‑procedure assessments and interventions.
• Act as a circulating nurse during endoscopic procedures, managing the room environment and assisting the physician.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout the procedure.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record.
• Facilitate communication between the patient, physician, and other healthcare team members.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
• Respond effectively to emergencies.

• Days:
  Monday – Friday
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Previous experience as an Endoscopy Circulating Nurse is required.

• Proficient in circulating nursing duties specific to endoscopy.
• Strong understanding of endoscopic procedures and instrumentation.

Endoscopy

• Call is required 10-14 days per month.
• No block scheduling available.
