Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and ACLS certification.

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Titers must be in hand at time of consideration
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment on a 40-bed Med/Surg unit (Floor
  3)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• No call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour work requirement
• Uses MEDHOST EMR
• Scrub color requirement:
  Royal Blue
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and be less than 1 week in duration
• RTO blackout during holidays, with a maximum of 3 days allowed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
