The Assistant Manager oversees daily store operations, ensuring effective cost control, inventory management, and cash handling while maintaining high standards of customer service and workplace cleanliness.

• Manage shift operations, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures at all times.
• Staff scheduling, crew training, and performance supervision.
• Maintain store cleanliness, marketing displays, and overall appearance.
• Handle paperwork, scheduling, and inventory paperwork.
• Ensure profitability and adherence to company standards.

• Solid mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and accurate monetary change.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities for customer and crew interactions.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination for rapid, accurate food preparation and equipment use.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Physical ability to stand most of the shift, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks such as reaching and turning.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle for delivery duties (if required).
• Proficiency with navigation, including multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.

• Stability while standing, walking, and moving goods; lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access high shelves or perform maintenance.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 36 °F to 90 °F+; exposure to heat from ovens (up to 500 °F), hot surfaces, fumes, cornmeal dust, and sharp edges.
• Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and hand tasks (e.g., preparing pizza dough, operating equipment).
  Manual handling and rapid movement required for delivery and in‑store activities.
