ABOUT THE JOB

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to support our growing stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement to management and franchise ownership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets company standards.

• Must own or have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.

• Navigate maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings.

ADVANCEMENT

Delivery drivers can progress to positions such as store manager, area manager, or franchise owner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Operate all store equipment.

• Stock ingredients, prepare products, and organize inventory.

• Receive and process telephone orders, complete associated paperwork, and maintain daily cleanliness of equipment and facility.

• Show strong communication skills: give clear written and verbal instructions and take orders accurately over the phone or in person.

• Demonstrate basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.

• In‑store temperatures range from 36° to 90°+; crew members may work near hot surfaces and sharp edges.

• Transportation of goods involves standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and occasional stair or ladder use.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: short distances at moderate pace; occasional travel between store and vehicle.
• Lifting: handle up to 50‑pound deliveries and maintain items up to 72” high.
• Carrying: lift items such as large cans, pizza sauce (up to 30 lbs), and trays of dough (≈12 lbs per tray) over short distances.
• Pushing/Pulling: move trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force.
• Climbing: navigate stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance or sign changes.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Accurate calculation, correct monetary change, and efficient order entry on a computer or touch screen.

• Motor coordination for precise movements; strong eye‑hand coordination for handling tools and equipment.

DRIVING SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Deliver product to customers and distribute flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate delivery routes and handle adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, and private residences.
• Travel between store and vehicle and to customer locations multiple times per shift.

WORK CONDITIONS FOR DRIVERS

Varying weather conditions, exposure to heat, sharp edges, and moving parts while driving.

SENSING REQUIREMENTS

Maintain driving vision, hearing during phone interactions, and visual acuity for in‑store tasks.
