Job DescriptionGranby Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to serve as a Job Coach at the BEAR Transition Academy. This role supports young adults ages 18-22 as they prepare for life beyond school by developing essential vocational, independent living, and interpersonal skills in real-world community settings.
The Teaching Assistant will provide hands‑on guidance at local job sites, helping students learn workplace expectations, communicate effectively with supervisors, interact professionally with coworkers, and build the confidence and skills needed for greater independence and future employment.
Rate of pay is $24.83/hr hours will be 7:30 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
