The CNC Programming Engineer (Contractor) will execute activities associated with the development, application and maintenance of manufacturing standards for the manufacturing processes. If you are a disciplined and collaborative individual with demonstrated understanding of Lean who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can deliver results, you may be an excellent candidate to join our team.

• Lead turning (lathe and VTL) programming development, instruction, and debugging tasks in collaboration with Process Engineers and machining leads.
• Directly support operations with NC programming changes to address issues as they come up.
• Directly support NPI development with new NC programs.
• Work with Process Engineers with CAD model development and validation for milling and turning operations.
• Work directly with Senior Engineering staff on various engineering initiatives.

• Five or more years' experience with turning CNC programming and VTL programming.
• Experience processing nickel and titanium‑based alloys in Aerospace machining operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Proficient in performing full set‑ups, program edits, and holding high precision tolerances.
• Ability to program with CAM and manually as necessary.
• Must be familiar with Repair Technical Data e.g., Engine Repair Manuals, Service Bulletins, OEM approved supplemental data, etc.
• Must have experience authoring typical shop process planning paperwork e.g., Routers, Operation Sheets, Inspection Forms, etc.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering a plus

This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
