Electrical Engineer – Aerospace & Defense Electronics

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the full development lifecycle of aerospace and defense electrical and electronic systems and components. This role is responsible for the design, development, testing, validation, and documentation of electrical hardware used in mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on laboratory experience, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and support the electrical hardware development lifecycle from concept through production.
  • Design, develop, test, and validate aerospace and defense electrical/electronic components and assemblies.
  • Create and review schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and engineering documentation.
  • Perform hands‑on laboratory work including prototyping, debugging, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
  • Support integration, qualification, and environmental testing activities.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering teams.
  • Analyze test data and generate technical reports and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace, military, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
  • Experience working with electrical or electronic hardware development.
  • Hands‑on lab experience with electrical testing, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other laboratory equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, avionics, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with PCB design, embedded systems, or power electronics.
  • Experience supporting qualification or environmental testing.
  • Knowledge of MIL‑STD, IPC, or aerospace quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering tasks simultaneously.
