Coherent Corp. is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, install, and maintain control systems for large-scale optical fiber manufacturing equipment, including MCVD lathes and fiber draw towers.
The role involves updating robotic, PLC, and vision system software, developing electrical panels, and coordinating with onsite teams. You will work with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Engineers to support the entire manufacturing process, emphasizing safety, reliability, and process stability.
