Every patient brings a unique story, and your clinical expertise will play an important role in helping them return to the activities that matter most. You ll evaluate individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions using comprehensive assessments that include strength, mobility, motor control, and cardiopulmonary function. Using those findings, you ll develop individualized treatment plans that evolve as patients progress toward their goals.

Your work will combine thoughtful clinical decision-making with hands-on care. Treatment approaches may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional training, patient education, and instruction in the appropriate use of assistive devices. You ll also develop home exercise programs that empower patients to continue making progress outside the clinic while supporting long-term outcomes.

Collaboration is central to how we care for patients. You ll work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary providers to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care. Beyond direct patient care, you ll have opportunities to contribute to staff education, community outreach, research initiatives, or program development based on your interests. • Base salary: $78,000–$100,000

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Connecticut Physical Therapist license in good standing (or eligible at time of hire)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent entry-level degree (BSPT/MSPT accepted if licensed)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Demonstrated knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Prompt EMR or equivalent preferred)
• Strong documentation skills compliant with CMS and state regulations
• Ability to perform the physical demands of patient care, including standing, lifting, and transferring patients
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: 1–2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience; new graduates with strong clinical affiliations will be considered
• Preferred advanced training or certifications in manual therapy, orthopedics, Redcord, Sahrmann MSI, or Anatomy Trains concepts
• Interest in continuing education, research, teaching, or community outreach
• Commitment to Connecticut Department of Public Health licensure requirements, ethical practice, and lifelong learning
