Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time
Civita Care Center at Meadowbrook
Granby, CT
$33–$36/hour
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily activities.
Position Responsibilities:- Carry out physical therapy treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
- Support individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional outcomes and resident independence
- Monitor resident participation and response to treatment sessions
- Communicate progress and observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborative therapy environment with PT, OT, SLP, and nursing professionals
