Job OverviewJoin a leading aerospace manufacturing environment as a Plasma Sprayer (2nd Shift), where precision, innovation, and quality are at the core of every component produced. In this hands‑on role, you will leverage your expertise in plasma spray technology and robotics to coat critical aerospace parts, ensuring they meet strict performance and compliance standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, collaborate with engineering teams to refine processes, and play a key role in delivering high‑performance solutions in a fast‑paced production setting.

- 3+ years of experience plasma spraying; aerospace environment highly preferred
- Knowledge/practical use and programming abilities of Robotic Plasma Gun (Sulzer Metco Multi Coat Sprayer System and ABB 2400 Series Robot)
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communication skills
- Plan, set up, and spray parts to meet production requirements; mask and/or grit blast parts to prepare for coating; use judgment in determining proper flow and speed of spray for the best results and compliance with all specifications.
- Interpret work orders, engine manuals, and blueprints to determine information such as type of operations and sequence of operations required.
- Work with Engineering to develop plasma spray programs, determine new methods, develop parameters, and determine material type for new or modified products. Assist with new tooling ideas.
- Ensure use of proper fixtures and tools; maintain adequate inventory levels of material to meet production goals; requisition materials and tooling as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicants must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
