Burkentine is growing and we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The role involves resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair, as well as general upkeep, grounds maintenance, and snow removal.

• Prepare vacant apartments for move‑in through turnaround repairs and improvements.
• Resolve maintenance issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Preserve the building’s appearance and safety by performing general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after‑hour emergencies, including snow removal.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance or formal education in the trades.
• Beginner‑to‑intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on‑call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25‑50 pounds of force frequently, and 10‑20 pounds of force constantly.
• Personal, reliable transportation to reach work and respond to on‑call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning.
