We are currently hiring team members to join our Highway Cable & Fence team which services the entire state of Michigan.

A Construction Laborer working within the Fence & Cable division of our company will be assisting with installing fence and cable barriers in highway medians.
This is an entry-level position. No experience is required, but any type of outdoor labor or construction work is a plus.
You will learn every aspect of the fence & cable installation process while assisting the crew leaders in starting and completing projects. As a construction laborer, you will be installing highway cable barriers, removing old fences, digging holes for fence foundations, loading and unloading materials, installing fences on all types of job sites. This is a fast-paced outdoor environment with many opportunities to grow within the company.
Qualifications- Valid Driver's License, CDL A (preferred not required)

- Works well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily.

- Construction Equipment Operation
- Ability to accurately read a level and a tape measure.
- Ability to perform manual labor as required in an outdoor environment in the heat, sun, cold, and rain.
- This position can require working nights, weekends, and out-of-town to work on projects that could be a week(s) at a time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, climb, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, view, and create written documents. The employee uses hand strength to grasp tools and climb ladders or uneven terrain. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, such as operating and repairing vibrating machinery, using wrenches, hand tools, etc.,
and operating motorized equipment and vehicles. The employee must lift or push/pull objects up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
