Long-Term Substitute Teacher-Middle School Science
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
It is the purpose of this position to meet the general educational needs of a Middle School Science class.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education al Requirements:
- 60 hours from a regionally accredited college or university
- Teaching certification OR Michigan Substitute Teacher Permit
1. Implement effective classroom management skills.
2. Ability to organize and administer class lesson plans.
3. Exemplify professionalism to students and staff.
4. Establish effective relationships with students, staff, and community.
4. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
5. Knowledgeable of the growth and maturation patterns of the middle school student.
6. Ability to speak and write effectively.
7. Clearance of a criminal records check as required by the Board of Directors' policy.
BENEFITS
Daily Long-term Substitute Teacher Rate of $200/day
