Seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to support diverse learners in a school setting near Grand Blanc, Michigan. These full-time contract roles involve collaborating with students across all grade levels, including those in resource, self-contained, cognitively impaired, and emotionally impaired classrooms. One position requires specialized skills in Braille instruction, while others will assist students with cognitive impairments, including supporting health-related needs such as toileting and diapering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 instructional support and personal care to students with varying abilities
• Adapt teaching and care strategies to meet individual student needs
• Assist teachers in resource and self-contained classrooms
• Support students requiring Braille learning (specific position)
• Conduct health aide-related tasks for students with cognitive impairments

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Completion of at least 60 semester hours of college credit OR
• Possession of an Associate's degree or higher OR
• Successful passage of the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment
• Experience working with diverse student populations, especially those with cognitive or emotional impairments, is preferred
• Ability to manage health-related support tasks comfortably
• Commitment to full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), with potential hours from 7:30/8:30 am to 5:30 pm
