Holy Family School is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic Band Teacher to serve students in 4th through 8th Grade.

This position plays an important role in fostering a love for music while supporting the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of our students within a Catholic school environment.

• Provide engaging general music and recorder instruction for grades 4th
• Lead and develop the school band program for grades 5–8
• Prepare students for school performances, liturgies, and special events
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the mission of HFS
• Integrate Catholic values and traditions into music instruction

• Valid Michigan teaching certification or actively working toward certification
• Practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education
• Experience directing band preferred
• Ability to inspire students of varying musical abilities

• Experience with beginning band instruction (woodwinds, brass, percussion)
• Familiarity with liturgical music and school Mass preparation
• Ability to teach a range of grade levels with age-appropriate methods
