Minimum

Educational Requirements:

• Shall possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Shall possess a valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement(s) for all subject areas being taught.
• Must have evidence of meeting highly qualified requirements, as defined by No Child Left Behind.

Minimum General Requirements:

• Ability to provide leadership in educational planning.
• Ability to organize and administer class lesson plans.
• Ability to promote effective relationships with students, staff, and community.
• Ability to function effectively in a management team and work within the strategic planning process.
• Knowledgeable of the growth and maturation patterns of the school student.
• Ability to speak and write effectively.
• Subject to a criminal records check as required by the Academy Board of Directors' policy and State Law.

Purpose of the Position:

It is the purpose of this position to meet the educational needs of students as stated in the Academy Board of Directors' policies, regulations, and established curriculum.

Starting $40,000+ Annual Salary
